Lets get a win boys & we're virtually through to the next stage.
Unfortunately based on the Brisbane game I can only see us getting a draw.

I have now been along to the raptors a few times (i live near there). What I can say is they seem like decent blokes and know how to cook a BBQ.

ANyone eastern suburbs based and at a loose end on sunday afternoon, then pop along.

The comment I made, I can either sit in the pub all day sunday paying pub prices or pay Raptors prices and watch some football as well.

Whats going on at Cove? we beat you guys 2-1 in a close game, from there in two weeks you have hit 16 goals and conceded 2. I can understand you wollaping Cougars but when we played Uni they were really good.
Anyway, good luck to all the Div 2 sides in the cup, we got an away trip to Para East.

The Cove B's this week played shocking in the 1st half (my opinion) and stepped up somewhat in the 2nd half to take the 3 points comfortably.
Pity about the state of the pitch.
The Cougars club ref did a reasonable job. and the BBQ looked pretty scrum.
Cove A grade also took the points.
I wonder what the other results in Div 2 were this weekend?

Div 3 -

A Grade - Murray Bridge 1 - Mclaren 3

A shocking result for the Bridge.. outplayed Mclaren the whole game, they had 3 shots and scored 3 goals!

We have now scored 2 goals in 5 games which is not conducive to winning games..

B Grade got mugged, We missed a penalty with 5 minutes to go and Mclaren went straight up the other end and scored after a bad clearance left them a wide open goal!!

We are still badly in need of a keeper for the A Grade..the search continues!!

As

Cougars 1 Cove 8

Better performance this week, but still some room to improve. Played with a lot more cohesion this week and was my more pleasant to watch. Sobs grabbing seven goals in an amazing effort.

Bs

Cougars 0 Cove 5

Didn't see the game but a great result to continue to be at the head of the pack.

Our B's have a 100% record at the moment (TOUCH WOOD) but our A's, C's & D's are struggling.

I believe that the 1sts have just signed 3 new players which will no doubt make your whole club stronger wouldn't it?
